No stranger to athletics, Katie started to get back into fitness after having her second child with various HIIT and group training. She took the dive into CrossFit with some prodding from her husband and after putting a barbell in her hands for the first time, she instantly fell in love with lifting and it quickly became a love [and obsession]. After finding her home at CrossFit Nolensville, she realized very quickly that she wanted to coach. She wanted to be the person that supports someone’s love of fitness and health like her coaches did for her. Katie loves seeing people’s reaction when they succeed and thrives off being there to encourage them.
Her free time hobbies include: watching her kids play sports, home improvement and design projects, reading mindless books and of course, working out!
